Sometimes Archeage can appear to have no land anywhere. In reality you can get land if you...
spend ALOT of time looking
have alot of gold to spend on it
get lucky as a mofo
NEVER GIVE UP!
First thing you need are land designs. The free ones come from these quests at level 30:
archeagefurniture.com/small-scarecrow-and-donkey-quest-walkthrough-east/
Other than that, you can get various houses and farms with guilda, loyalty, credits, merits, AH etc. Guilda is the easiest because in theory you can get upwards of 12-20 guilda a day.
Here are the steps to finding land.
1. the easy way. ride around on your horse with a land design on your hot bar, so you can see if it will fit in any of the open spaces. sometimes you just get lucky. if you want to simply place an 8x8, you can literally find 8's in almost every land area on the server.
2. while you are riding around, you might see cert'd land up for sale with the little "key" signs in every corner. that land will usually sell anywhere from 400g to 2000+ gold or more. so start saving gold for land today!
3. you might notice some farm area's have almost nothing planted on them, no decor, they look abandoned. you'll have an easier time finding land in these spots. you can check the information on any peice of land either at the front door or the scarecrow and it will give you a date and time it will be demolished if taxes aren't paid. then you can stake it out at that time and you might get lucky.
4. once you save up at least 600g start watching faction and trade chat. every day I see about 3-5 pieces of land for sale.
5. look in less desirable places. places with war/peace cycles, or constant war, and that don't have any coast are less desirable than peace land on the coast. Try to look for empty spots in Windscour, Perinoor, Hasla, Rookborne in the East... All of Auroria including golden ruins and diamond shores... and even in the west... Cinderstone and Karkasse. I'll bet if you spent 15 minutes every day for a week looking through Karkasse you'd find a free or cheap farm.
6. maybe most importantly TELL THE GUILD YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LAND! the more guildies we have, the more land will be available when someone moves, downsizes, or leave the game etc.
